We have trialed many soap dishes and can say that most of them didn't do a very good job - that is - until we came across this design. The stainless steel top allows the soap to sit high above any draining water and has a small surface area touching the wet soap which is a great bonus to avoid a soggy bottom. It can be easily cleaned as the stainless steel rack lifts away from the bottom ceramic tray. It offers a good size, enough for two bar to sit side by side if you wish,  and will not discolour as can be the case with bamboo or wooden soap dishes. It is also dishwasher safe.
